Description
As the President and Managing Broker for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, the Utah affiliate of global luxury brokerage Sotheby’s International Realty, Bridgette Osguthorpe is responsible for the majority of the inner workings and processes that keep the organization running smoothly. An integral part of Summit SIR since its inception in 2010, Bridgette’s strong drive and natural business sense have been instrumental in the firm’s impressive growth over the past 13 years. Under her leadership, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions in areas including Sales, Philanthropy, Marketing, and more. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Bridgette’s interest in real estate began early in life. As she grew, she witnessed her father enjoy a distinguished and successful career developing properties across Utah. During high school, Bridgette’s father brought her into the fold where she began managing various aspects of the family business. During these transformative years, Bridgette developed her strong sense of independence and a deep understanding of her strengths—including her instinctual business sense. After college, Bridgette moved to Arizona and began carving out a career for herself in commercial real estate. She eventually moved back to Utah and became a licensed REALTOR®. With Bridgette’s experience in a variety of dynamic real estate settings—in addition to those early, foundational years managing her father’s business—she joined Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in 2010 as the Office Administrator, quickly proving herself as a knowledgeable and irreplaceable asset. Over the following 13 years, Bridgette’s roles advanced as the organization grew, and she eventually became the President and Managing Broker in early 2023. Bridgette has added tremendous value to Summit Sotheby’s International Realty’s bottom line, directly assisting the company in achieving a coveted place leading the ranks of prominent real estate brokerages nationwide and across the globe. Her business-savvy management has helped Summit Sotheby’s International Realty grow from a healthy sales volume of $135 Million to an astounding $3.8 Billion in total sales volume last year. Managing 13 offices across the state in areas including Park City, St. George, Moab, Salt Lake City, Draper and beyond, Bridgette’s direct involvement with staff and agent recruitment, as well as managing the processes that support their growth and development, have been instrumental in Summit Sotheby’s International Realty’s expansion across the region. Bridgette resides in the Heber Valley with her husband and two children in Utah’s rapidly growing Wasatch Back region, where they have lived since 2013. When she’s not working, she spends time working on home improvement projects and fitting in as many camping trips and outdoor activities with her family as the seasons allow. Bridgette also enjoys taking her family on visits to the warmer weather of Arizona, where her parents have now settled.
